ThePropAudit operates the website at https://www.thepropaudit.com. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean ThePropAudit.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, profile image — provided via Google OAuth or email sign-in.
Usage data: pages visited, clicks, search queries — collected via analytics tools (anonymised).
Purchase evidence: screenshots or PDFs you upload to verify prop firm purchases.
Newsletter email: if you opt in via our newsletter form.
Affiliate click data: hashed IP addresses and referrer URLs when you click outbound links to prop firms.

3. How we use your data

To operate your account and the rewards system.
To verify prop firm purchases and award points.
To send price drop alerts and newsletters (opt-in only).
To analyse site usage and improve the product.
To detect fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Affiliate tracking

When you click a prop firm link, we log the click with a SHA-256 hashed IP address and your anonymised session identifier. We do not store raw IP addresses. This data is used to attribute confirmed purchases to the correct affiliate session.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with:

Supabase: database hosting (EU/US regions).
Vercel: website hosting and edge functions.
Resend: transactional email delivery.
Google: OAuth authentication only.
PostHog / Sentry: anonymised analytics and error tracking.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions. Analytics cookies are used with your consent where required by law.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@thepropaudit.com. Account deletion removes all personal data within 30 days.
